In 2014, the Inter-American Development Bank launched its inaugural Education, Youth, and Employment (“EYE”) Bond. The bond is directed to promote sustainable growth, poverty reduction and social equity in Latin America and the Caribbean within these three key priorities. The projects that will benefit from these investments will contribute to improving the quality of children’s education, increasing productivity and enhancing the skills of young people entering the job market.
